Channelers & Transcribers
Edgar Cayce/A.R.E.:
http://www.edgarcayce.org/
Called “the sleeping prophet” and “the father of holistic medicine,” the extraordinary Edgar Cayce gave 14,306 readings on 10,000 topics (many dealing with the treatment of illness) during the 40 years of his work, all collected in the nonprofit A.R. E.’s database and detailed in hundreds of books about the highly spiritual man who, in a sleep-state could access “universal consciousness” about the development of intuition, ancient mysteries, future probabilities, and health.
Jane Roberts/Seth website:
http://www.sethlearningcenter.org/
A seemingly ordinary person, Jane Roberts, delivered messages from a collective of higher entities called Seth. While seated in her living room with a small group of friends, for a number of years she channeled messages about the nature of reality that comprise the famous series of “Seth” books.
A Course in Miracles/Foundation for Peace website:
https://www.acim.org/
Helen Schucman, a medical professor who was “anything but spiritual,” found herself channeling, via shorthand, a philosophy with “universal themes,” if Christian in tone, that became A Course in Miracles, transcribed by a colleague William Thetford and published in 1976. Containing the words and insights of “the Voice,” ACIM provides an expansive perspective on love and forgiveness. It spawned study groups worldwide and also sparked some controversy and condemnation from those who claim the bible as their sole source of direction.
Abraham-Hicks website:
http://www.abraham-hicks.com/lawofattractionsource/index.php
Esther and Jerry Hicks have preferred the word “inspiration” to “channeling” to describe the way The Law of Attraction and other inspired books of theirs have come to be. However, like other channels, they did no altering of messages, in this case, from a group of ascended masters known collectively as Abraham. Readers around the globe have taken to heart the guidance that details how to raise one’s individual energetic vibration in order to manifest the highest good.
Paul Selig—The Word website:
http://paulselig.com/
New Yorker Paul Selig—a playwright and a professor at NYU for 25 years—is currently channeling a group of masters known simply as The Word. Once again, these entities exist at a higher frequency or energy than those in physical form, seeking to uplift and empower those who receive their wisdom. Exploring such channeled material over the years, I’ve recognized a commonality of spirit, in encouraging human evolution, in connecting us with our higher selves.
Liv Lane/Infinite Purpose:
http://livlane.com/
My own daughter, Liv Lane, left a successful corporate career to honor her calling as a gifted intuitive, offering online courses and “firecracker calls” for clients seeking higher guidance via a group of guides she knows as Spirit. One day Spirit announced that they would be delivering eight messages for an online group at the close of 2014. Within a year, they told her that after she and artist Lori Portka had fulfilled this calling, they would see the content published as a book called Infinite Purpose. I watched in awe as that promise became a reality in book form.
